Request Data Deletion

How deletion works

Delete your account in the app

Open Settings → account deletion. This signs you out and removes your server-side profile — your email, display name, and plan. It's the quickest way, and you don't need this form.

Uninstall to remove everything on your device

Your conversations, settings, saved credentials, and history live only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes all of it, right away.

Or do a full local reset

Prefer to keep the app installed? Clear All Data in the app does a complete local reset — the on-device store, keystore entries, any downloaded model files, and app state.

Your encrypted Google Drive backup — here's how to clear it too

If you turned on backup, your encrypted backup lives in your own Google Drive — we only ever see our app's own backup folder, never the rest of your Drive. Because it's yours, neither uninstalling nor this form removes it. To clear it, open Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → OpenAlly → Delete hidden app data, or delete the OpenAlly backup folder yourself.

It's end-to-end encrypted with a key only you hold, so it stays unreadable to anyone else until you delete it.

What we hold on a server

Processing time

Server-side requests are typically completed within 90 days. On-device data is gone the moment you uninstall or Clear All Data, so this window applies only to the server-side profile.

Confirmation

We'll email you once your server-side data has been removed.

Deletion request

The email associated with your account, or a contact email for follow-up.

If your account is linked to a phone number (e.g. WhatsApp channel).

This opens your default email client with a pre-filled message. Requests are handled by TheAppStack (Satyajit Pradhan). If no email client opens, you can email us directly at [email protected] with the details above — either way reaches us.
